SOTUNOL (Société Tunisienne d'Oléagineux) holds a special
                place in the Hamrouni Group. It is the parent company from which
              the Group's activities diversified into other business sectors. SOTUNOL
           was initially established in 1948 and acquired by M. Abdelkader HAMROUNI
         in 1965. It is now a flourishing concern and has continually been a pioneering         innovator in industial and construction paints.

 SOTUNOL produces a wide range of quality products, tailored to customer's   requirements. Among the dozens of brands on its catalogue, suffice it to mention a few   leading products such as :

                            - Linseed oil
                            - Lacquer paints :SOTUMAIL et SOTUMAT
                            - Water-based paints : SUPERLATEX et PLASTEX
                            - Oil-based paints : HIRONDELLE
                            - varnishes
                            - dries for paint.

                  In order to produce such a wide product range (dozens of brands),
                        it is necessary to make relentless efforts and show a great
                         capacity to adapt to the trends of competitive markets.
                              SOTUNOL employs 70 full-time and 40 part-time
                                         people. In both employee groups,
                                            motivation is a shared value.

                 With a production of 1000 tons per month, SOTUNOL is in a
             position to meet orders with the tights deadlines in the shortest time. Its           products are marketed througout the country, through a distribution network
        of over 1500 outlets. Though admittedly conforting, these results are so many
       spurs for an ambitious company determined to move further ahead. At SOTUNOL,
      we are highly optimistic about the future, since we have been exporting an
     increasing share of our production since 1996..
